Rome wasn’t built in a day, and neither will you be.
I’m someone who struggles with always wanting to be ahead of where I am. I always want my work to show me results faster than they do.
As we enter a new year, I’m thankful for the grace and wisdom that getting older is bringing me.
I’m thankful for the practice of surrender and trust that I’ve taken over the last few years.
Whatever your goals for your life or your health for the upcoming year, it’s easy to be in the energy of excitement in the newness of the year right now.
While I am certainly a fan of new beginnings, a proponent of setting goals, striving for things in life, and of course working on bettering your life & health, I’m more concerned with doing so from a realistic and grounded place.
What can you do today? This week? This month?
Start there.
And take an intentional approach with your daily practices.
Take the next indicated step in front of you right now, and then the next, and so on.
The key is to set yourself up for progress. Small steps in progress lead to success.
This is where the magic in growth lies. This is where you will begin to see change.
So go ahead.. set the goals, make the plans, and be excited for the future and all that you may be stepping into.
But also give yourself patience and grace. Relieve yourself from the notion of failure and take it one step and one day at a time.
You got this.
How can I support you with your goals for health this year? Message me to find out about working with me or visit the link in my bio to learn more.
xoxo,
