The holidays are among us and it’s time to get on top of our immunity practices. I’m a little late in the season sharing this with you, but better late than never, I hope! 🤞🏼🤧
There are so many things that you can do to support your immune system during this time – even with the holidays and all their naughty little temptations!
I used a 2-quart glass jug, you can cut the recipe in half or double it as you choose.
1 cup peeled and grated horseradish
1 cup peeled and grated ginger root
10-15 peeled and chopped garlic cloves
4 diced jalapenos
1 small chopped yellow onion
2 lemons juiced + a little lemon zest or slivers of the peel
16 ounces of apple cider vinegar
~1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
~1 tablespoon fresh rosemary
~1/2 tablespoon turmeric
1/4 cup honey, more can be added later when you taste test it if you wish!
Combine and mix all ingredients in your glass container.
Store in a cool, dark place for 4-6 weeks.
Give your container a shake or a stir every 1-2 days.

When your elixir is ready, after 4-6 weeks, separate solids with a mesh strainer or cheesecloth.
Bottle your fire cider and store in a cool place or the refrigerator.
You can add the leftover solids to a soup/broth or stir fry, or discard them.
Drink 1-2 tablespoons as needed!
Voila! Stay well, my friends! 💚
